I check the stats every few days, usually answer comments within a day or two, and I try to write content at least once a month (but realistically, it is more like between semesters since I teach at a university)! It was easier when I was just starting out because I could go over my son's past years, but now that the blog is in 'real time', I feel it is better not to say anything if I have no updates or no recent insights than waste the readers' time. Also, I update posts rather than add a new post on a previous topic.... this way, I try to keep things neat and organized.
